A few things to know.

How the coach works

Self-Captr learns the angles, light and framing you like, then gives whoever holds the phone one camera direction at a time. The camera and coach are free with a Captr account. Directions guide the camera and pose without judging your body.

What stays on your phone

Your face measurements and learned preferences stay on your iPhone. Choosing a server edit needs separate permission to send that photo to Captr and an editing provider. You can keep using the camera without server edits. Provider retention is shown before you agree.

Shared styles

Share a style code with someone you trust. They open it in Captr and sign in to add your camera directions and color look. A shared style holds directions, poses and a look. It includes no photo, face measurements or your private words. Codes work once and expire after seven days. Stop sharing to remove linked access.

Edits and deletion

Keep your Original alongside your edit and check the receipt before sharing. Server copies have a deadline 23 hours after the job is created and are scheduled for deletion within 24 hours. Downloads end at the deadline. The editing provider may keep its copy longer under the terms shown before consent. Copies you save in Photos or backups stay there until you remove them.

Subscribing, cancelling and restoring

Self-Captr edits cost $5.99 a month through the App Store, with 40 server edits per calendar month in Eastern time. Edits on your phone are unlimited. The camera and coach stay free. Cancel future renewal in Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions → Captr. Access continues until your verified subscription expires. Use Restore Purchases in Self-Captr Settings with the Apple Account that bought the subscription. The app shows the current price and terms before purchase.

Deleting your account

Use Account → Delete account in Captr. Resolve unfinished work and unpaid earnings first. Turn off server-edit permission to stop new server edits and remove live edit jobs and photo copies. Stop shared styles to remove linked sharing access. Consent records are kept as proof of your choices. Delete your own saved Photos and backups separately. Cancel your App Store subscription separately in iPhone Settings; deleting the app does not cancel renewal.
